It was triple the adventure on this visit to Uganda as my brother Chris and sponsor, Steph, came along too! I have been wanting to take people with me for a while in order to see the work and meet the team and it was a great blessing to have them along.
Steph is blind but doesn't let that hold her back. She has such an adventurous spirit, like my late husband who was also blind, and having travelled many times with him, we negotiated the travelling well, with the help of some very kind special assistance staff.
I missed my trip to Uganda last year due to bilateral frozen shoulders preventing me from travelling so it was a very emotional reunion at Entebbe Airport. It felt so good to be back there, meeting Brian. Mali and Ian again and to introducing them to more Brits! I'm looking forward to introducing them to many more in the years to come, so if you would like to experience Uganda and see the work we are doing please feel free to get in touch!
The first week was extremely busy and a little challenging both physically and emotionally as we packed a lot of visits in. During the second week Chris and Steph travelled to Kampala - Chris to visit another project and Steph to visit friends. We saw God's blessing and provision in so many ways throughout the trip, so please keep reading to find out what we got up to!
